What are the main benefits as far as you are concerned?
The self-appraisal has proved very useful as we only ever did
this informally before. It’s got us all to really think about
the process now and to discuss the criteria. It is definitely easier
to identify difficult areas and to talk about them, promoting discussion.
Is the system easy to use?
Yes.
As always there some people who find computers difficult but it
would be the same with any system, that’s life.
What about take-up?
We have increased our number of users very rapidly after the
initial learning period.
What would you do differently?
I think we would complete the training nearer to the system take-up
by each individual; we probably left too big a gap.
