Cascading business objectives

The TrakSmart solution is one of the strongest products in the market regarding the cascading of business objectives through the organisation with proven references from existing clients.

Both finite and free format objectives can be easily and quickly set at the individual, team or organisation levels or any combination as frequently as required.

The system enables the organisation to streamline its objective setting, compliance, competence and output ratings. We have clients whose staff are not clerically orientated and recognise some of the issues in this area and have overcome them.

The senior management team and managers can, in seconds, pin-point precisely where any issues are and address them and similarly, identify talent and track and nurture its progress.

The best analogy is the course of a ship. With paper systems, if you're lucky, the ship's course gets corrected around once a year when the appraisals are reviewed, usually long after corrective action is needed.

With TrakSmart, the ship's captain and officers can correct the ship's course as often as they like. Not only can they see the external dangers and opportunities, but they can now see what's going on inside the ship as well at all times and take major advantage of that knowledge.

The administration burden is significantly reduced and costs can be lowered. Reference clients can testify where appropriate.

 

Face to face

The system insists and encourages face to face discussion and makes it more focused and enjoyable. Just read some of the customer comments! Both line managers and individuals have to confirm that they have met and discussed performance. Any staff who do not comply are visible.

 

Your I.T. folk will love it!

The system is a browser based solution running on Microsoft Windows 2000 server technology. The database is Microsoft SQL Server, which many I.T. departments already use. It employs the Microsoft Internet Explorer Browser window so it’s thin client, which means it is fast with negligible effect on your network. One of our clients actually rang to say how staggered they were by its speed.

 

Security

Password control can be either via your existing systems or TrakSmart’s own password control. It is very secure. Once a review is complete a manager locks an objective or assessment record and consigns it to history view. There are in-built processes which control what a manager and individual can change and when.

 

Statistics

The system calculates the gap between the Line Manager’s score of the team member's objectives / assessment and the benchmark your organisation has set and stores it in its statistics for review.

 

Organisation views

You can instantly view the company staff organisation structure at organisation or team level and it is up to the last few seconds.

 

The Competences used

Qi can provide best practice competences, or adopt pre-existing competences, or create new ones working with your organisation. We are also able to electronically upload data saving re-keying.

 

E-mails

The system offers an electronic scheduling ability for your organisation to send e-mails via your normal e-mail system to individuals and / or their managers based upon various criteria e.g. date of joining, assessment reminders etc.

 

Reporting

The system comes with set reports and you can create and print your own using freely available products.
